LESSON 01 / 04

Heat must leave the facility

Air cooling and liquid cooling are ways to carry heat away from IT equipment. Heat must eventually be rejected outside the building. Understanding the whole path helps answer questions about energy and water.

Ask how heat moves from the equipment to the outdoor system and how that process changes with weather.

Check your understanding

Where must equipment heat ultimately go?
